Careers with Diverse

Bookkeeper (Xero specialist) part-time & full-time options available

Work at the forefront of Australian agriculture.

Australian agriculture is changing fast. Farmers are running sophisticated, data-driven businesses — and they deserve financial support that keeps pace. That's exactly what AgBooks Australia was built to deliver.

We're a specialist agricultural bookkeeping and cloud accounting practice, proudly part of the Diverse Business Consultants group. We work exclusively with mid-size, growth-minded farming businesses across Australia — the kinds of operations doing genuinely interesting things with technology, diversification and scale.

As Xero Platinum Partners with deep Figured expertise, we bring real capability to a sector that has historically been underserviced. We're not generalists who dabble in ag. This is all we do — and we're building a team that feels the same way.

This isn't your average bookkeeping role.

If you've spent time trying to explain seasonal cash flow to a software system that wasn't built for it, or reconciling livestock movements in a tool designed for retail — you'll understand immediately why AgBooks exists.

We get it. We built something better.

Here, your agricultural knowledge isn't a niche quirk — it's the whole point. You'll work with clients who run real operations: cropping, grazing, mixed farming, horticulture. Businesses with complexity, ambition and genuine need for sharp financial minds who understand their world.

You'll work fully remotely, manage your own time, and bring your expertise to clients who genuinely value it — backed by a progressive, tech-forward team that makes the work easier and more enjoyable than going it alone.

Who we're looking for

You're an experienced ag bookkeeper or accountant who knows your way around Xero and ideally Figured. You understand the rhythm of farming businesses — the seasonal pressures, the compliance obligations, the conversations that happen around the kitchen table as much as the boardroom.

You're sharp, organised and genuinely passionate about what modern agricultural businesses can achieve with the right financial support behind them. You love people, love technology, and you're ready to do your best work in an environment that's been built specifically for it.

If that's you, we'd love to talk.
